Making room for the queen...

Well today we, and when I say we I mean Chris, made room for our queen mattress! It was so hard getting the mattress from the unit to the caravan that we needed a 20 minute nap once it was in! We were very happy that the bed fit, this means traveling in comfort! Not only that but more storage room underneath the bed!!! Yay for more storage :)

It wasn't hard to find Chris...Just follow the trail of destruction!

I spent quite a lot of my time cleaning the windows and the kitchen. Chris took a look inside the fridge and said " Are you sure you want to clean that, or do you just want to get a new one". It was totally cleanable and came up great, there was only one problem...it wouldn't turn on after I cleaned it!!! Oh well that's another job for another day.

The preparation begins!

Welcome to our humble abode :)

So after our decision to hit the road for a while, we have been madly organising how to make that happen. A few weeks ago we bought a Nissan Navara, then the week after we bought the caravan! Since then we have been scrubbing every nook and cranny on the van, Chris relocated the aircon, I bought new foam for the dinette and made up covers for them and I made new curtains. It looks like a bit of a demolition site at the moment! This weekend we are notching out the cupboards to fit our queen bed in, a luxury that we believe is worth it! So much to do, so little time! I think its only 9 weeks till the 20th, when we are leaving!
