Getting down the West Coast

As we left for Port Headland it rained. It was strange for us as we haven't had rain since April! We got to Port Headland and had lunch, but decided to move on because it was going to be hard to get accomodation.

Rain!!!

Mega sleeps in the funniest positions in the car!!!

Mining at Port Samson

We drove on to Port Samson, where we couldn't get accomodation again because of miners accomodation and school holidays. So we had dinner at the Tavern that overlooked the ocean. It was so funny because we were told be two guys to go to the tavern over the UHF radio for half price t-bone's! They were very friendly there!

Mega loving playing in the sand. I like this much much more than red dirt!!!

After dinner, we drove back to Roebourne and luckily got a caravan site there. In the morning we went to the old Gaol and had a look around.

Then we drove to Karratha and then through to Dampier to see the Red Dog monument. We had a swim and lunch and then had a look around. The people really have a sense of humour in this town and there is a few strange things too!
