Barossa Valley

We got into Port Augusta and quite frankly drove straight out, it seemed to be quite a rough town, so we didn't feel the need to explore it. So we drove to Kimba and saw the Big Galah. It was funny but the weather was shocking, so we drove on towards Clare Valley and stopped off along the way for the night.

I don't understand how these signs got authorised!

The next day, we drove through Clare Valley and the Barossa Valley. We enjoyed a food demonstration at Maggie Beer's Farm and sampling food and new products. I got up close and personal with some turkeys which was quite funny. I will try to upload the video :)

Oh it was a hard days work today, cooking all that food :)

We then went to a lavendar farm at Lyndoch, but the weather was so wet and yucky so we drove to Mannunda and had a yummy dinner in the local "warm" pub. We then set up camp just past The Murray Bridge and were in for a long night with strong winds shaking the caravan. The wind and the rain just didn't seem to end all night! It is so cold, I hope at least the wind stops tommorow!
