Camping at Collie and the trip to Collie

Well we left Rebecca and Tristram's but it wasn't goodbye, because we got to meet up with them in Collie to camp for the weekend! We were dreading having to say goodbye because we all had such a great time together!

Here are a few last snaps before we left.

My first attemp at crocheting, I am making a blanket.

It's a dog's life!

Megatron has been growing so fast. He put on 1kg in four days!! We bought him a coat and in a week it went from being too big to just snug!!!

On the way to Cottosloe

Leaving Perth - Swan River

Cottosloe Beach

Yummy Mango and  Pannacotta Yoghurt Ice Cream

So we got to Collie and when trying to find the camp spot via GPS co-ordinates, we came into some strife...

We got we and truely bogged! The truck isn't meant to go down sandy roads!

This man came to help out just as we finally got out. He was quite stunned when we came crawling down this track behind the properties and then told us we were on the wrong road. So we went back to town and waited for Bec and Tristram. Not that they were much help because below is the track we had to go down for the right place :)

I shouldn't be smiling if I knew what was coming up!!!

Hmmm Truck + Old Caravan (older than Chris and I) Versus Rutted Dirt Track = BOG

Not Cool!

Tristram doing what he does best ;)

The men hard at work in the drizzling rain

After we got all sorted, the dog decided that getting bogged was fun...

Wooo hooooo!!!!
Luckily we were camping by a river, so he could have a bath before bedtime!

An apple a day hopefully keeps the vet away

Megatron hoping that Susan and Josh might let him stay the night :)

I think Josh would be ok with a sleepover, what sooks :)
We had such a cold night, it dropped to 0.1degrees overnight and my goodness did we feel it!!!

Dinner Time - Roast Lamp and Vegies

Pancakes and Fruit Salad for Breakfast
We took a drive past Weillington Dam on our way out to Bunbury.
Looks like a house up there, but i guess it's an engine room or something
