Experiencing Esperance and the beginning of the Nullarbor

Esperance was an interesting place. It was a beautiful place. We walked along the beachfront and looked at the massive iron ore ships in the port. When went back to the truck to find a note from a couple that Chris had helped back in June. Chris had helped fix their caravan when the wheel went through the floor of the van. Anyway, they invited us over for a cuppa, so we did. It is so nice to feel like you have friends when you are in the middle of a different town.

After a cuppa, we went exploring and walking along more of the beaches. The water and coastline was incredible.

Look at that spectacular beach!!!

The many sleeping positions of Megatron in the truck!!!

Canola fields, they actually smell funny. We slept next to one last night.

After Esperance, we drove towards the Eyre Highway to cross the Nullarbor. We didn't think we would get that far but we drove to Norseman and saw the tin camels. Then we had some dinner, yummy corned beef and couliflour :) Then we drove till 2 o'clock in the morning and got 400kms down the Nullarbor out of the 1200kms!!! Then we crashed :)

Here we go!
