Bush mechanics begins!

Well we finally left Monto and we drove into the night through to Emerald. It was a bumpy rollercoaster ride up and down the ranges and through bad dips in the road. But we did ok considering.

100kms out of Emerald, Aaron came to a stop and so nicely pulled up the nice new bitumen we were travelling on. The drawbar had detached from the towball and dragged for 50 meters, it was probably damaged from the accident but we didn't think to check it. So on the side of the road we madly tried to find new bolts to fix the problem.

Once we were all sorted we drove just past Emeral and stopped on the side of the road for the night. I slept well in between waking up and realising we were in the middle of nowhere!!! So today it will be onwards to Mt Isa. A big BIG day of driving!
