Timber Creek

We stayed at Timber Creek for two days. We did some fishing and had a look around. It was so hot though and very little shade from the sun. I was well and truely ready to move on and find shade on the second day. We have driven into Boab tree territory, they are everywhere!!! I don't know what it is about them, but they are so beautiful. The scenery is absolutely awesome around here.

Gary and Chris setting the pots for the Chrobin (they are a fresh water prawn)

Some wierd rock standing up on the creek bed

Abeautiful Boab tree

Our fisshing spot East Baines River. The taller bridge was made to survive the floods and yet it still get covered with water! There are big branches trapped uner the big bridge from the wet season.

Some Black Cockatoos flying in the distance

Another Boab :) I really like them!

Catch of the day...Yummy Cherobin
