A taste of Kununurra

Well we have arrived at Kununurra and it is a fairly big town but spread out accross the place. We are staying at the rodeo grounds where we will be working this weekend. It is amazing how throughout the town there are the huge cliffs and rocks jutted up from the ground. Because they are so red, the sunsets are filled with amazing colours. There is a lot of birdlife here. Soooo many Corella's squaking all the time. Lots of eagles and kites. There are also a lot of snakes.

Here we are on the Western Australia border. Where we had to give up our honey and left over vegies. We had been feasting the last couple of days before, to get through our illeagal fruits and vegies :) I even made tempura vegies one night!

In the middle of Kununurra this is what you see

We nearly hit this Olive python

He was a little too fast and cranky for Chris. It reared up when Chris got his tail, so we left him alone :)
