Kakadu National Park

Whilst in Kakadu we drove to Jabiru to look at the town. It had a few shops, an airport and a resort. Then we drove to nourlangie where we did a 1.5km walk around the gianormous rock formations. We walked through the big rock hangovers that were used as shelters, some dating back 20,000 years. It was so nice and cool under them! Then as you climb up the top, the view was phenomenal.

It was very expensive to stay in Kakadu. It was $50 just to drive in and then $20 a night at the camping grounds with pretty much no facilities. So after doing a few walks we decided to keep going through to camp at Pine Creek for the night.

This shelter was apparently dated back 20,000 years. It was full of Aboriginal art.
