Darwin to Humpty Doo

On Monday after the excitment of the V8's at 9:00am, I realised that we had to check out of the caravan park at 10am! I thought we had another night!!! Oh dear. It was a mad hurry to pack up and get ready. Especially after I was getting ready to do the many loads of washing we had accumulated!!!

So after our big rush, we drove towards Darwin for another last look at what civilisation looked like again. We dropped off the caravan and went for a stroll along the shops and stopped at the Marina for lunch.

After our nice lunch we picked up the caravan and drove towards Kakadu National Park. We found a nice spot on the wetlands to camp and set up for the night. We learnt a very good lesson... Mozzies attack at sundown!!! They were like fighterjets attacking our windscreens to come in and kill us!
