Wild Wilderness of NT

Chris and I started our morning with some amazing wildlife already! We got up and drove to a place called Window on the Wetlands where we had a look at the... you got it wetlands. It was a pretty cool place.

Then we drove on to stop at a place in Mary River where we did a boat cruise. Our eyes nearly fell out of our head when we cruised down this river!!! We saw soooo many crocodiles (fresh and salt), Brolgas, Jabirus, Egrets, Darters, Sea Eagles, Whistling Kites etc etc etc. It was the highlight of our trip so far now. It was unbelievable!

If you want to launch your boat at the boat ramp, this guy keeps an eye on you.

After seeing our first Water Buffalo and not succesfully getting a pic, we were so excited to see this guy wandering around. Too bad he was just a normal bull!

After that, we didn't feel the need to drive on to Kakadu after seeing all that stuff, but we did.

Yet again, very common to come accross bush fires.

Space!

We parked next to the boat ramp at South Aligator River for the night and got inside quicksmart...funny thing, I had dreams of crocodiles all night!
