Litchfield National Park Part 1

First stop at the Litchfield National Park is the Magnetic Termite Mounds. They are all north south facing.



These Termite Mounds are from grass eating termites.

We then headed to Florence Falls and walked down 135 stairs to get to the bottom. It was worth it though!!!

We enjoyed a cool swim after a hot walk. The water was freezing!!!

Then we drove to the Bamboo Creek Tin Mine where we found the track was not so suitable for our set up! We were worried how tight this track would get.

But we made it afterall.

An ironic name for this piece of machinery!
